Essential of Industrial Automation with SMC was launched in 2022, our short-term course is specifically designed to cater to ITI/Diploma/Engineering students to make them job ready by giving them practical exposure to real life scenarios. This course currently has a batch size of 24 students to provide sufficient hands-on practice individually.
The automation course is a three week-long course offered in a blended model. Two weeks focused on conceptual understanding and one week dedicated to hands on training.

Diploma Degree Holders/Professionals (EC, IC, EE, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automobile) and ages 18 and above

The course offers a well-structured and comprehensive curriculum that covers all the essential aspects of industrial automation. The topics covered, such as Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electro- Pneumatic, Electro- Hydraulic, PLC Programming provide a solid foundation for understanding automation in the industry. The course instructors are highly experienced and knowledgeable in the field of industrial automation. Their expertise and ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner greatly contribute to the effectiveness of the course. In this Industrial Automation training we have learned pneumatics, hydraulics, electro-pneumatics and PLC Programming. It was a great experience, on the last day we’ve visited SMC industry. And we’ve done experiments or exercises in the well equipped lab with full safety. And by doing this course one can improve the resume and in placements also it is very helpful. I’m thanking TATA IIS and SMC for providing such a nice training. And also thankful to Nayan sir and Bhavesh sir.

To date, we have trained around 650 students. Our alumni are working with notable companies, such as Torrent Power, Powellite Electricals, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, and L&T. . Equipped with holistic technical and business skills, many alumni have also chosen the path of entrepreneurship to realise their dreams.
We firmly believe in inclusion. Identifying segments that need us the most is one of our goals. We are mindful of reaching the tribals and marginalised and ensuring maximum women participation.
Learning from the industry is at our core. Our industry partners are deeply involved, right from course design and delivery to recruitment. Our current partners include Fronius, Universal Robots, SMC, Phillips Machine Tools, Multivista, Fanuc, MIR, Markforged, Schneider Electric, Lincoln Welders, Hexagon, Formlabs, ABB.
The campus is being designed on a 4.17-acre land parcel at Chunabhatti inside the National Skill Training Institute campus in the state of Maharashtra. The first phase of development includes approximately 22,500 square feet building facility housing, advanced manufacturing, and electric vehicle laboratories. The facility will also have classrooms, advanced computer laboratories for training in allied areas and is designed to provide the trainees with a real-world environment of working in a manufacturing industry. It is designed with the capacity to train approximately 190 students at a time. Future campus is envisaged to be an excess of 2.5 lakh square feet of infrastructure development enabled with, training, hostel, as well as student activity facilities.
